Don Andres
Wood Products Unlimited, Inc. was started in 1992 by
Don Andres in a small, 20 x 30 back room with only two
employees. Himself and Scotty - a crafty-then-high-schooler
who is still with the company today. Even as a child,
Don was interested in building. He started working
part-time for a wood shop while still in high school. He
continued to work for the same wood shop all through
college. Don moved to Brainerd in 1992 to begin building
his dream. And Wood Products was born. Don and his wife
Jody live in the area and are busy raising their four
children.
Alan Andres
Don's brother, Alan, joined the team as a partner in
1996. Having been in management most of his career, Alan
brought a strong management style to the company and
continues to keep Wood Products on the cutting edge of
custom built products. Alan and his wife Peggy currently
live in Brainerd, have two grown boys and - excitedly -
their first grandchild on the way.
Since the partnership, Wood Products has tripled its
space, added to its fleet of black trucks, and increased
its staff to include several specialty people, a custom
design team, and a finishing shop. With Don leading the
design, construction and finishing team and Al leading
the install crews, the entourage is unbeatable when it
comes to quality, service and customer satisfaction.
